Directions on how to get to the cottage -:
From Caernarfon follow the signs for Waunfawr on the A4085 road from Caernarfon to Beddgelert. Drive through a small village called Caeathro which has a large garage and shop on the right just before a roundabout. Carry straight on and drive for about two miles down and then up a very steep hill into the village of Waunfawr. Drive straight on through the village for about a mile until you pass a Skoda Garage and the village shop Lifestyle on the right. THIRD LEFT after the garage you will see see a turning with a sign for Tyn yr Onnen Farm and Caravan site. Turn left off the main road and remain on the country lane driving down past the No Through Road sign on to a single lane. Drive on passing two farm entrances on the left until you come to the entrance to Tyn yr Onnen Farm and the cottage Capel Bach is on the left. Parking space is just in front of the cottage.
If you are coming from the South via Betws y Coed and the A5 follow the signs for Beddgelert and then Caernarfon. Drive through Rhyd Ddu- Snowdon is on your right in the distance- and then into Betws Garmon and into Waunfawr. On the outskirts on your right you will pass the village pub Snowdonia Park and the station for the Welsh Highland railway drive on up the hill with the Church on your left and take the right turning almost opposite the Church. Follow the signs for Tyn yr Onnen Farm and campsite for about 3/4 mile down the country lane and the cottage is by the farm entrance.
